| Ayon Dey (ID: 160103020015) | Unsupervised Bangla Word Segmentation Using Transitional Probability Word Segmentation is the process of segmenting the word into prefix, root and suffix that is helpful in the speech signal. It is the process of finding out the smallest meaning bearing elements of natural languages. In this research, We described segmenting the word in an unsupervised approach by finding words that appears as substring of other words using trie data structure and detecting changes using transitional probability. I use the unsupervised approach because it results with little extra manual effort. I will describe the two approaches that work together to finding out the morphemes.1) Finding morphemes that appear as substring of other string. 2) Calculating Transitional Probability. This algorithm gives me good result according to its simplicity. It is evaluated on a set of 1575 human segmented Bangla words, the 432-line python program achieved an accuracy of 80.95%. Digitalization is making our life easier and more comfortable. But, still, there are lots of cases that do not belong to digitalization. The digitalization of those cases can make our life more better and comfortable. Focusing on solving one of those problems, we are developing a project name “Online Marriage Registration and Information System”. Our proposed system will be helpful to make the marriage registration smarter coming away from the traditional paper-based approach. Proper documentation will be ensured in a good manner. Without it, finding a bride and groom on an online platform will make the finding soulmate experience easier with the help of chatting and recommendation systems. Almost all types of institutions are closed for Covid-19. Even in this unfavorable situation, human work does not stop. Nowadays almost all the work is done sitting at home. And this is possible due to the increasing development of information technology. Of Which the use of virtual online meeting is everywhere and most. Like business meetings, online classes etc. In this pandemic situation, education institutions are conducting their educational activities through various online platforms. Here we proposed a system that is actually a browser-based meeting platform (WebRTC) only for an education institution. Here teacher will be able to create classrooms using our platforms. Where he or she can take classes online and share class related resources with students. By using our platform, student will be able to join online classes and access all kinds of resources. The admin will be able to monitoring the whole system. It means he or she can see the student and teacher profile, whole teachers’ activity, student activity, will be able to solve any type of profile issues and so on. Admin will also be able to add new admin and maintenance whole type of admin activities. Blind people are always seeking to have a normal life and they need an assistant for this. Blind Assistant is an android application for blind or visually impaired people. Here we proposed a system that is actually a virtual assistant for a blind user. This application’s GUI (Graphical User Interface) is voice-operated which is much easier to handle for blind people. In our application, a blind user can know time and date information, his exact location and weather information. User can use dictionary which is also voice-operated and artificial intelligence based that can translate much better even in a full sentence. Detecting objects is the most significant part of our project. Object detection helps blind user to know about their current environment. In our daily lives, we don't have sufficient time to find suitable helpers (such as housemaids, nanny, cleaners, electricians) for our home. And the most crucial thing is to find a reliable and skillful helper. So we came up with an idea and decided to create a web application so that we can serve those people who are seeking helpers. So we select a name for our website and it is "LabourHub”. LabourHub helps people to get reliable, expert and experienced helpers. A person can effortlessly get the needed helper by following a few steps of LabourHub. With the help of LabourHub, a person also can interact with the helper smoothly and negotiate his terms and conditions. LabourHub, also a platform for the helpers where according to their skill they can seek for work and get works to do and make money. In this web application, there are three types of modules. They are- client module, labour module and admin module. The user has to register for hiring labourer. The register labourer can see the lists of job and he/she can apply for the job of he/she needs. The admin module has the all-access of this website. The admin can change everything on the website. Admin can add, delete, verify, and update any information regarding the posts, hiring labourer. When we started creating this web-application, the prime purpose was to give workers better job opportunities and to provide workers to those who are looking for skillful worker. After creating this web application, we get to see the activities of this application which is - employees can apply for jobs using this application, people can hire workers to use this application. It was the purpose of creating this application. The idea behind this web application fills LabourHub. Over the years the process of admission, notice boards, important declarations about academics, and administrations are being carried out manually through paper and pen which is very time consuming and a big headache to maintain all that record at someplace. This paper-pen process is not only time consuming but also inefficient and it’s difficult to maintain the paperwork and records. Keeping all these points in mind, we have developed a web-portal that is implemented using web-services that would connect with the database established on a remote server. Through this software, we have tried our best to overcome these problems. We have developed a central system that will help to meet the challenges of both sides (universities and students). The Unique ID would provide unique identification to all the students and all universities who could be using this system. ID Number would not just help the admin to keep track of students and university but would make it easier for the students as the students don't have to go through the pain of submitting multiple hard copies of the documents and proofs each time the institution requires it. UNIVERSITY ADMISSION HUB System is a simple yet effortful tool that would result in reducing the paper-work easily for the institutions as well as the students who would use it. It’s handled manually in lots of institutions or universities and there is a huge chance of losing data because of keeping these through hand notes.
